How homeopathy approaches this
Homeopathy does not treat the finding on a report in isolation. In a constitutional consultation we ask which joints hurt, at what time of day, whether the pain is worse on first movement or after continued use, what cold, damp weather or a change of season does to it, and whether heat or rest brings relief. Two patients with the same X-ray grading often need different medicines, because the remedy is matched to the person, not only to the name of the disease.
In rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, the body's own immune system is attacking the joint lining, so treatment aims to calm that over-reaction rather than only relieve pain for a few hours. In osteoarthritis and disc problems, the approach differs: reducing inflammation, easing stiffness and supporting joint function, alongside appropriate exercise and weight management. This runs alongside your existing treatment, never in place of it. If a rheumatologist has prescribed methotrexate, steroids or any other medicine, continue it exactly as directed; any reduction is decided only by your own physician, based on fresh reports.
What to expect at the clinic
The first consultation with Dr. Raju takes about thirty to forty minutes, since the pattern of the pain matters as much as the diagnosis. Please bring X-rays or MRI films, uric acid, RA factor, CRP or ESR reports, and a list of current medicines, including painkillers. Follow-up visits are usually monthly at first, and progress is assessed by concrete measures: how long morning stiffness lasts, how many stairs can be managed, and how often a painkiller was needed that week. Joint problems that have developed over years tend to settle slowly and in stages, so no cure or fixed timeline is promised, and we will say plainly when surgery or a specialist opinion is the better course for a particular case. Anyone with a sudden severe injury, a joint that is hot with high fever, loss of bladder or bowel control, or sudden weakness in a leg should seek immediate medical care first.
The clinic is located at Plot No 4, Sreenidhi Apartments, Manovikas Nagar, Old Bowenpally, a short drive from Tirumalgiri, Trimulgherry and Begumpet, and easily reached from anywhere in Secunderabad. Patients also travel from Alwal, Sainikpuri and Kompally; when walking itself is painful, proximity to home makes monthly follow-up considerably easier to maintain.
