Homeopathy Treatment for Urology and Men's Health Problems in Hyderabad

Important: Evidence supporting homeopathy for specific health conditions is limited. This information does not replace diagnosis or prescribed treatment. Continue care with your treating physician.

A kidney stone causes sudden, severe pain in the side or back that often spreads towards the groin, with no position bringing relief; this is usually confirmed on a scan. A urinary tract infection causes a different kind of discomfort: a burning sensation on passing urine and a frequent, urgent need to go, often with the worry that a past infection has returned.

Other men's health concerns are less often discussed openly. These include needing to urinate several times at night, a noticeably weaker stream, or a sense that the bladder does not empty fully. Difficulty with sexual performance, and a semen analysis showing a low count after a year of trying to conceive, are also common reasons patients seek consultation.

Such concerns are often delayed longer than others because they feel private or uncomfortable to discuss. At our Old Bowenpally clinic, Dr. Ravinder Raju has consulted on these conditions for more than twenty-five years. Consultations are held in confidence, reports are reviewed carefully, and patients are told plainly what homeopathy can help with and what requires a urologist.

Urology & Men's Health conditions we treat

Kidney Stones

Kidney stones form when minerals in concentrated urine crystallise and clump together, most commonly in those who drink insufficient water in Hyderabad's heat or who have a family history of stones. Homeopathic treatment aims to ease colic, assist smaller stones in passing, and reduce the likelihood of new stones forming, with scans used to track actual progress.

Common signs

  • Severe pain in the side radiating to the groin
  • Blood in urine, burning
  • Nausea, vomiting during an attack

When to consult: If the pain has recurred, if a scan shows a stone that has not moved, or if fever or blood in the urine is present, prompt consultation is advised rather than waiting for the next episode.

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

A urinary tract infection causes a burning sensation on passing urine, along with a frequent and urgent need to urinate, even when little is passed. Many women experience repeated episodes, each treated with a further course of antibiotics that clears the infection without addressing the underlying tendency to develop one again.

Common signs

  • Burning while passing urine
  • Frequent urge with little output
  • Lower abdominal pain, fever

When to consult: If this is the third infection within a year, or if burning returns within weeks of completing antibiotics, treatment aimed at the underlying tendency is advisable rather than treating each episode in isolation.

Chronic Kidney Disease (Supportive)

In chronic kidney disease, the kidneys lose their filtering capacity gradually over years, usually as a result of long-standing diabetes or high blood pressure. Homeopathy is offered here strictly as supportive care alongside the patient's nephrologist: treatment addresses appetite, nausea, swelling, itching, sleep and general strength, while the specialist continues to manage the kidney condition itself.

Common signs

  • Rising creatinine and urea
  • Swelling, reduced urine
  • Fatigue, nausea, itching

When to consult: If creatinine levels are rising, the feet are swelling, or urine output has decreased, patients should remain under the care of their nephrologist and may seek supportive treatment here alongside that care, not in place of it.

Prostate Enlargement (BPH)

After the age of fifty, the prostate commonly enlarges and presses on the urethra, causing the urinary stream to weaken, start with delay, dribble at the end, and leave the bladder feeling incompletely empty. Homeopathic medicines aim to ease these urinary symptoms and reduce night-time trips to the bathroom, with PSA levels and ultrasound findings monitored so that a more serious cause is not missed.

Common signs

  • Weak stream, dribbling
  • Getting up at night to urinate
  • Incomplete emptying

When to consult: Waking two or three times a night to urinate, straining to begin the stream, or any dribbling of urine warrants a consultation promptly rather than continuing to adjust daily routines around the symptoms.

Erectile Dysfunction

Difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection is common and rarely has a single cause. Diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking, poor sleep, work-related stress, and the anxiety that can follow a single difficult experience all contribute, so treatment considers the whole person rather than addressing the symptom alone.

Common signs

  • Weak or short-lived erection
  • Loss of confidence, anxiety
  • Associated diabetes or BP

When to consult: If the difficulty has persisted for more than a few weeks, or has begun to affect confidence or a marriage, a confidential consultation is recommended.

Premature Ejaculation

Ejaculating sooner than desired by either partner often causes anxiety, which in turn can worsen the problem on subsequent occasions. Homeopathic treatment addresses the underlying oversensitivity and nervous tension, and practical measures are discussed alongside the prescribed medicine.

Common signs

  • Ejaculation within a minute
  • Performance anxiety
  • Relationship stress

When to consult: When anxiety about performance begins to arise before every intimate encounter, a private consultation is advisable rather than continuing to manage the concern alone.

Low Sperm Count (Oligospermia)

A semen analysis showing a low count, reduced motility or abnormal morphology is among the most common findings when a couple experiences difficulty conceiving, and it is often reversible. Heat exposure, varicocele, past infection, smoking, alcohol use, obesity and prolonged sitting all affect sperm parameters. Since sperm take approximately three months to mature, treatment outcomes are assessed through a repeat semen analysis rather than by symptoms alone.

Common signs

  • Low count or motility on semen analysis
  • Varicocele, past infection
  • Difficulty conceiving after a year

When to consult: If a couple has been trying to conceive for a year without success, or a report already shows a low count or reduced motility, evaluation of both partners is advisable without further delay.

How homeopathy approaches this

Constitutional homeopathy considers why the body keeps forming stones, why an infection returns after each course of antibiotics, or why the prostate has begun causing symptoms now. The consultation takes a full history, including water intake, occupation and travel, diet, sleep, family history of stones or diabetes, and general wellbeing. Because treatment is chosen for the individual, two men with the same ultrasound findings may need different remedies.

The same principle applies to men's sexual health. Difficulty with erection or early ejaculation is frequently linked to stress, anxiety, poor sleep, diabetes or circulation, and addressing only the immediate symptom overlooks these underlying factors. Treatment uses no hormones and no steroids. Where diabetes, blood pressure or a nerve condition is also present, prescribed medicines continue unchanged, and any adjustment is made only by the patient's own physician after reviewing reports.

What to expect at the clinic

The first consultation lasts about thirty to forty minutes and is conducted in complete privacy. Patients are asked to bring any ultrasound or CT scan, urine culture, blood reports including creatinine and PSA where available, a recent semen analysis if relevant, and a list of current medicines. Follow-up visits are usually scheduled every two to four weeks initially, and scans or reports are repeated at the interval the doctor advises, since progress needs to be confirmed on paper and not only by how the patient feels. Acute urinary infections often settle within a short period, while stones, prostate enlargement and sperm-related concerns are reviewed over months rather than days. No cure or fixed timeline is promised, and if a case requires a urologist, this will be stated clearly. Anyone with severe or sudden symptoms — such as complete inability to pass urine, high fever with back pain, heavy blood in the urine, or severe pain with vomiting — should seek immediate medical care.

The clinic is located at Plot No. 4, Sreenidhi Apartments, Manovikas Nagar, Old Bowenpally, a few minutes from Tirumalgiri and Trimulgherry and a short drive from Begumpet and the rest of Secunderabad. Patients also travel from Alwal, Sainikpuri and Kompally. Since stones, prostate conditions and fertility concerns require regular follow-up with updated reports, proximity to the clinic makes it easier for patients to continue treatment consistently.

Urology & Men's Health: your questions answered

I have a 9 mm kidney stone. Can homeopathy remove it, or do I need lithotripsy?

Caution is warranted with any claim to dissolve a stone of that size. Small stones, and some medium-sized ones, can pass with treatment, adequate water intake and time, and this can be attempted when the treating urologist agrees. A large stone, one obstructing flow, or a stone accompanied by infection requires a urologist, and this will be communicated clearly.

My urine infection comes back every two or three months. Why do antibiotics not stop it?

Antibiotics clear the bacteria present at that time, but they do not address whatever makes the bladder prone to infection again. Contributing factors can include low water intake, holding urine for long periods, constipation, reduced immunity after menopause, or an underlying stone. Constitutional homeopathy addresses this underlying tendency, and a urine culture is requested so that treatment is guided by evidence.

My creatinine is rising. Can homeopathy repair my kidneys instead of dialysis?

No, and this will never be suggested. Chronic kidney disease is managed by the treating nephrologist, and if dialysis is advised, that decision must be followed. What is offered alongside is supportive care for nausea, poor appetite, swelling, itching, weakness and disturbed sleep, with reports monitored as the specialist directs.

My urologist has suggested prostate surgery. Should I try homeopathy first?

This depends entirely on the individual case. If the enlargement is moderate and urination is otherwise unaffected, treatment can be attempted while symptoms and ultrasound findings are monitored. However, if there has been urinary retention, repeated infections, blood in the urine, kidney back-pressure, or a suspicious PSA result, surgery is the appropriate course, and delaying it can cause real harm. Reports should be brought for an honest discussion of the options.

Will anyone else know what I came for, and are the medicines safe with my diabetes and BP tablets?

Consultations are conducted one to one behind a closed door, and what is discussed with Dr. Raju remains confidential. Reception staff do not ask the reason for a visit. The medicines contain no hormones and no steroids, and are given alongside diabetes and blood pressure medication, which should be continued exactly as prescribed by the patient's own physician.

My semen report is poor. Should we keep trying naturally or go straight for IVF?

This is a decision for the couple and their fertility specialist together, and age is a relevant factor. Sperm take roughly three months to form, so treatment is normally reviewed against a repeat analysis after that period. Many couples pursue treatment while continuing to try naturally. If IVF or ICSI is already planned, the clinic should be informed, so that treatment supports rather than delays it.
